    It's That Time of Year

Totally unrelated to knitting, but have you ever noticed that certain products are only advertised on TV right before the holidays? Not sure what that means, but I feel like I have been inundated with commercials for Chia Pets, the Ove-Glove, and the Clapper. I swear I never see these commercials during the rest of the year!

    A Welcome Postcard

For those of you who live in Chicagoland, I received a postcard today from Wool and Company in Geneva, IL. They are having a sale Dec 27-31 where almost all yarn is 25% off with daily specials 40% off. Needles, books, and accessories are 10% off. Now you know where to find me on December 27th.

    The Panic Sets In

I do love the holidays, but I have so much knitting to finish! During the summer I begin to think of all the items I want to knit for friends and family. If I only had started knitting the items then. I have so much knitting to do and so little time!

    Knitting Classes As Gifts

Looking for a unique holiday gift for a friend? How about knitting lessons? We received an email from a reader on this and recommended a shop from our Yarn Shop Directory for him to contact near the recipient. What a great idea. Good for any level of knitter.
